The Yellow Chilli opens in Bahrain

As I write this, I am preparing to leave for the inauguration of The Yellow Chilli restaurant in the Seef District. Many dignitaries of Bahrain and our Indian Ambassador along with prominent businessmen of Bahrain are on the list of invitees. It is quite exciting for this is the first The Yellow Chilli to be launched in Kingdom of Bahrain which is acclaimed as one of the most modern countries in the GCC being home to a mixture of people of different cultures and nationalities. SunCity Ventures of Bahrain, in September 2011, had made the announcement and just months later the launch is happening. It has also kept in mind that the restaurant's creative design reflects a contemporary look with state-of-the-art-décor that is warm and welcoming, a true replica of true Indian hospitality. The Yellow Chilli is at Shop 1287, Bld 2102, Road 2825, Block 428, Seef District Kingdom of Bahrain.

Soon after, the launch of The Yellow Chilli in Kathmandu is scheduled on Jan 12, but first coming back home and then proceeding ahead for this occasion.

Mumbai seems to be having a good winter this year! In fact the last month of 2011 was very pleasant but this sort of chill was certainly not expected! It will be a nice Lohri and Sankrant festival. To get you going into the festive spirit, www.sanjeevkapoor.com has some lovely and apt recipes lined up. Also this month we are carrying features on importance of breakfast and how rice can add some important nutritive value to your meals. You will also enjoy our tips on maintenance of expensive kitchen equipments that are now life and soul of a modern kitchen that is equipped to help out the busy home maker.

Talking about quick cooking, I would like to share some recipes that have, of late, become hot favourites at home!

Till I write again
